CMF is set to launch three new products in a few days, including its first ever smartphone, and ahead of this, the Buds Pro 2 has been listed on the SIRIM database, indicating a local launch shortly after its unveiling. The upcoming pair of earbuds are the successor to the 1st gen Buds Pro and will likely also come with an affordable price tag.
The Buds Pro 2 received SIRIM certification on 1 July 2024 with the model number B172. Notably, the Watch Pro 2 is currently the only device from the upcoming lineup that has not made an appearance in the database. All three devices are set to be officially announced on 8 July 2024.
As for the specs of the Buds Pro 2, the Nothing sub-brand has released a few teasers to let us know what to expect. For starters, it will come with improved hybrid noise cancellation that can tune out up to 50dB of noise, which is 5dB more than its predecessor.
The earbuds will feature dual drivers and, just like the earphones from Nothing, it will be equipped with ChatGPT integration through the brand’s phones. Additionally, the case will have a customisable smart dial similar to what we saw in the Neckband Pro.
