vivo has officially announced the Pad3, which is the vanilla companion to the Pro model it released back in March. The tablet is smaller in size and as such, it comes with a smaller battery. It also gets a chipset downgrade, going for a mid-ranger instead of the flagship processor found in the Pro.
The Pad3 sports a 12.1-inch LCD display with a 7:5 aspect ratio as well as a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 600 nits. Under the hood, the tablet runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
On the back, users will find an 8MP camera while up front, it houses a 5MP shooter in a landscape position. Powering the Pad3 is a 10,000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. Additionally, it is equipped with a six-speaker setup and ships with OriginOS 4 based on Android 14.
The Pad3 comes in three colour options with a starting price of CNY2,499 (~RM1,620) for the base 8GB+128GB trim and goes up to CNY3,399 (~RM2,205) for the maxed out 12GB+512GB configuration. As of now, there is no word on whether the tablet will be making its way to the Malaysian market.
