Serial leakster @evleaks previously shared pixelated images of Samsung’s upcoming foldables to the internet, back when the Unpacked event happening on 10 July was not yet confirmed. Now that the South Korean tech giant has clearly marked the date on its calendar, said leakster has followed up by sharing crisp images of the foldables that are expected to be unveiled on said date.
While this current batch of leaks don’t come with any spec sheet info, it basically leaves the exterior of both the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 completely bare. For the former, while they don’t look as aggressively sharp and edgy as prior leaks have portrayed them, they definitely have lost the gentler edge of the soon-to-be previous generation.
As for the latter, there’s nothing much to be said here, really. The earliest leaks of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 already pointed at minimal changes for the clamshell on the outside, and unsurprisingly that’s what we see with the latest one. If there is one notable difference between the two leaks, it’s only that the cameras are much more clearly visible in the latest one.
This recent leak also shows that both the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 come in two colours each. Both share a very grey-ish silver look, though it’s not immediately clear if this points to a titanium construction. And while the book-style foldable has a deep navy blue for its exclusive colour, the clamshell gets a very light blue instead.
Both these Samsung foldables as well as accessories including the new Galaxy Ring, are expected to be unveiled on 10 July. As mentioned previously, you can catch the stream via the company’s official site and social media channels, as well as register your interest for a chance at getting vouchers for your pre-orders.
