Along with its Snapdragon X Elite-powered Vivobook S 15, ASUS also announced the ZenBook S 16 will be available starting next month. More specifically, the laptop will be made available from 29 July onwards.
Just as how the Vivobook S 15 is the first Copilot+ PC powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Series processors, the ZenBook S 16 is the brand’s first non-gaming laptop to be fitted with AMD’s latest Strix Point CPU, the Ryzen AI 9 370HX. In terms of performance, the CPU is based on the new Zen5 architecture and sports 12-cores, 24-threads. Additionally, the CPU also comes with an XDNA2 NPU that peaks at 50 TOPS, and an integrated RDNA3.5 Radeon 890M GPU with 16 Compute Units (CUs).
Moving along, the ZenBook S 16 also comes with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM running at 7,500MHz, 1TB worth of PCIe 4.0 storage, and a 78Whr battery to power it all. The display is a 3K (2,880 x 1,800) Lumina OLED NanoEdge panel, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 16:10 aspect ratio.
For connectivity, the ZenBook S 16 supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, while the physical I/Os includes two USB4 ports, one USB-A 3.2 Gen2, an HDMI 2.1 port, one full-sized SDCard Reader, and an audio jack combo.
The ASUS ZenBook S 16 retails at RM7,999 and will be available in two colour options, Zumaia Gray and Scandanavian White. Like the Vivobook S 15, ASUS is also offering a special bonus, whereby customers that preorder the laptop between today and 9 July will receive a 1-year extended warranty and a 4-port 100W GAN charger worth RM698 while stocks last.
