While the OPPO Reno12 line of phones have made their appearances beyond our shores, the company promised the launch of these devices for the local market today. And with that the two phones have now had their local unveiling, we now have the complete spec sheet of the variants we can buy.
Starting from the top, both the base OPPO Reno12 and its Pro variant sport a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, with the latter getting a slightly flatter profile than the former. They also look to share the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy as they did in the EU market, and in the same vein, both are powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W charging. Both also share a single memory and storage configuration, which is 12GB + 512GB.
For its cameras, the base OPPO Reno12 comes with a 50MP main + 2MP macro + 8MP wide-angle camera combo, while the Pro model replaces with macro shooter with a 50MP 2x zoom telephoto camera. In front, they come with another 50MP camera. rounding up the package is Android 14 with the ColorOS 14.1 overlay, and an IP65 rating.
As for their prices, the base OPPO Reno12 has an asking price of RM2,199, while the Pro model has a price tag of RM2,599 instead. The company says that both are immediately available, and you can find out more about each of these phones by hitting the links above.
