The OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite has officially made its debut as the latest offering in the budget Nord lineup. The new phone comes with some notable upgrades in the camera, screen, and battery departments, as well as the fingerprint scanner moving from the side to under the display. However, it seems to be using the exact same processor as its last two predecessors.
The Nord CE4 Lite sports a 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,100 nits. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695, which was the same chip used in the Nord CE3 Lite and CE2 Lite. For protection, it comes with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
Imaging-wise, it packs a 50MP main camera with OIS, something that previous Nord CE Lite devices lacked, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 16MP selfie shooter — the new phone seems to have gotten rid of the macro lens. Powering it is a nominally larger 5,110mAh battery along with support for significantly faster 80W charging.
The Nord CE4 Lite starts from INR21,000 (~RM1,185) for the base 8GB+128GB trim in India. There is no word yet on when it will be coming to Malaysia, but we can expect it to arrive here soon as the phone has already been listed on the SIRIM database.
