Samsung has officially announced that it will be holding its second major Unpacked event of the year next month on 10 July 2024. As it turns out, the rumour of it being held in Paris this time around is accurate after all. Moreover, the brand also confirms that its next-gen Galaxy Z foldable smartphones will yet again take centre stage.
“Prepare to discover the power of Galaxy AI, now infused into the latest Galaxy Z series and the entire Galaxy ecosystem,” Samsung’s press statement reads. “Get ready for a world of possibilities as we enter a new phase of mobile AI.”
The announcement did not specifically name the Galaxy Z models nor any other devices that are expected to debut during the event, however. According to several rumors and leaks circulating prior to this, it is suggested that we’ll be seeing a new Galaxy Z Flip6, more than one variant of the Galaxy Z Fold6, the Galaxy Watch7 series, the previously announced Galaxy Ring, and perhaps the new Galaxy Tab S10 series. One thing’s for sure, newer Galaxy AI features are expected to be highlighted during the event.
The upcoming Unpacked will be streamed live on Samsung Malaysia’s official website, as well as its Facebook, Instagram, Newsroom, and YouTube channel at 9pm local time on 10 July. Samsung adds that those interested can register their interest via its website from now until 9 July, and doing so will entitle them to up to RM500 in e-vouchers for pre-ordering the new Galaxy products as well as a chance to win daily mystery gifts worth up to RM27,000.
