Following the recent accidental price reveal, Xiaomi seems to have quietly launched the Redmi Pad Pro on its website, offering the tablet with two storage configurations. It comes in three colour options, but it seems that the graphite colour is exclusive to the 256GB variant.
To recap, the Pad Pro features a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a peak brightness of 600 nits, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. Inside, the mid-range tablet runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage along with a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
For imaging, the device has two 8MP cameras, one each for the back and front sides, with the front shooter placed in a horizontal configuration. Powering the whole thing is a 10,000mAh battery with support for 33W charging.
The Pad Pro starts from RM1,099 for the 6GB+128GB variant and RM1,499 for the 8GB+256GB variant. Both tablets are available for purchase on Xiaomi’s online store, with a promo price of RM999 for the 128GB model from 26 June until 7 July 2024.
