Apart from the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra leak which we’ve reported earlier, tech insider OnLeaks also shared renders of the much rumoured upcoming FE variant for this year’s Galaxy S24 line-up. As expected, the phone is suggested to feature a similar design as its siblings, with the exception of the top-shelf Ultra model, of course.
According to OnLeaks (in collaboration with Giznext), the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will measure roughly 162 x 77.3 x 8 mm, while its display size will be 6.65-inches. Speaking of the latter, the phone can be seen sporting the usual punch hole camera cutout on its screen, though it was not specified which panel type is equipped. Overall, it looks like the FE will sit between the base and Plus models under the Galaxy S24 line-up in terms of size, much like its predecessor.
Flipping it over to the back, it is revealed that the phone will yet again rock the same triple lens camera arrangement as its siblings. The leak also suggests that the setup will be headlined by a 50MP primary lens, and it would be unsurprising if a telephoto and an ultra-wide makes up for the remaining sensors. Meanwhile, the volume rockers and power button are visible on the right-hand side of the phone, whereas a USB Type-C port is situated at the bottom.
Specifications of the Galaxy S24 FE’s internal hardware are not mentioned, but a recent Geekbench listing suggests that it will sport the same Exynos 2400 chipset as the rest of the non-Ultra models from the line-up. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 version is also rumoured, but as an exclusive to certain markets such as the US. Besides that, the phone is expected to come with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
It is still not known when Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy S24 FE, and the chances of it appearing during the brand’s upcoming Unpacked event this summer is quite slim. Like the Galaxy Watch FE that’s recently made official, the phone is likely to debut on its own with little or no fanfare sometime this year.
