Last Friday, OPPO launched a new variant of the A3 Pro in India, which seems to be a completely different phone from the one introduced in China. While the brand has yet to announce the availability of the phone in Malaysia, it seems that some sellers have jumped the gun at revealing the local pricing, including one of the brand’s own stores.
The OPPO store in Ocean Mall, Melaka has posted the A3 Pro on its Facebook page with a price tag of RM1,099, which comes in two colour options. There are also third-party sellers on Shopee that are selling the phone, complete with an official warranty from OPPO Malaysia, at the same price.
As for the specs, the A3 Pro sports a 6.67-inch 720p LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. Moreover, the entry-level device runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with a single configuration made up of 8GB of RAM an535743d 256GB of internal storage. For protection, it is equipped with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
On the imaging side, it features a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP front snapper. Powering the phone is a 5,100mAh battery with support for 45W charging. Regarding connectivity, it supports 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a headphone jack.
