realme has officially confirmed the local launch date for the C65, one of its newest C-series smartphones. Sporting a flat display, flat sides, and three lenses on the back, the brand actually calls this phone a tribute to Samsung — admittedly, its design is quite reminiscent of the Galaxy S22.
Introduced in Vietnam a couple of months back, the C65 sports a 6.6-inch 720p LCD display with refresh rate of 90Hz as well as a peak brightness of 625 nits. On the software side, it comes with some gimmicks such as air gesture support and the Mini Capsule feature. For protection, it is equipped with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
It runs on a Mediatek Helio G85 chipset with up to 8GB of storage and 256GB of expandable storage, although we still don’t know what configurations will be offered in Malaysia. Optics-wise, the budget device features a 50MP primary camera, 2MP macro lens, and an 8MP selfie snapper. Powering the phone is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W charging.
The C65 will be coming to Malaysia on 4 July 2024. Based on the press release, it will be offered in two colour options, namely black and purple. It will also be packed together with the company’s 48-month Fluency Certification, which promises a smooth, lag-free experience for at least four years.
