HONOR has finally brought over the 200 series, its latest mid-range offerings. The lineup is made up of two devices, namely the HONOR 200 and 200 Pro, with the latter being equipped with the latest chipset from Qualcomm while both are packed with the brand’s AI features including Magic Portal and Magic Capsule.
Let’s start with the HONOR 200 Pro, which sports a 6.78-inch 1.5k curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,000 nits for HDR content, although the global peak brightness is not specified. It runs on a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Additionally, it comes with an IP65 dust and water resistance rating, something that the vanilla model lacks.
For photography, it features a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with OIS and 2.5x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. The front features a pill that contains a 50MP selfie shooter along with a regular depth sensor, so it can’t do 3D facial recognition like HONOR’s flagship phone. It is powered by a 5,200mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 66W wireless charging.
For the vanilla 200, it comes with the same display panel as the Pro, but at a marginally smaller size of 6.7-inches and in a flat form instead of curved. This mid-ranger runs on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
On the optics front, it has a similar rear setup to the Pro, but with a smaller 50MP main sensor, as well as a 50MP selfie snapper. Powering the phone is also a 5,200mAh cell with incredibly fast 100W charging, but it has no support for wireless charging.
The HONOR 200 has a starting price of RM1,899 for the 12GB+256GB trim and goes up to RM2,199 for the 12GB+512GB trim. As for the 200 Pro, it comes in a single variant with a price tag of RM2,699. The phones can be pre-ordered through HONOR’s website as well as its Lazada and Shopee stores.
