Beyond the MatePad 11.5 S PaperMatte Edition, the Huawei MateBook 14 was also scheduled to be unveiled today. And with the official launch now behind us, the company has revealed that there are two versions of the laptop that you can get.
Confirming most of what was revealed last week, the Huawei MateBook 14 comes with a 14.2-inch 3,120 x 2,080 touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Also as previously listed is a choice between an Intel Core Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 for its processor with integrated Intel Arch graphics. This would be the primary difference between the two versions.
Other items in the spec sheet between the two models of the Huawei MateBook 14 are identical. 16GB of RAM was already revealed, but with the launch the company also revealed that the laptop will come with 1TB of SSD storage. Powering the device is a 70 Wh battery, with a claimed 19 hours of local video playback. The laptop also supports reverse 40W charging for your smaller devices.
As for their prices, the Huawei MateBook 14 with an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor will cost RM4,999, while the one with the Core Ultra 7 gets a RM5,499 price tag instead. As with the MatePad 11.5 S PaperMatte Edition, this will be available for pre-order from today until 28 June, with general availability following after. There are a bunch of freebies for early birds here as well, worth up to RM1,614, which also includes a 3-in-1 printer.
