TIME Internet has recently launched its new 12-month internet plan that’s tailored for renters and frequent movers. It comes with a contract period that aligns with yearly rental leases, ensuring uninterrupted Internet throughout and avoiding hefty termination fees once the period ends.
The ISP notes that the new 12-month plan has slightly higher monthly fees than its existing 24-month offering, but offers a good balance between commitment and flexibility. Keep in mind that terminating the plan within your contract will cost you RM500 or the sum of your remaining contractual period, whichever is higher.
The new plan is available in three options: 200Mbps (with 200Mbps upload) at RM119 per month, 600Mbps (with 500Mbps upload) at RM159/month, and 1Gbps (with 500Mbps upload) at RM219/month. Regardless of which, TIME will also bundle together a mesh-enabled WiFi 6 router, but only the 1Gbps option gets an additional WiFi 6 mesh node.
According to the ISP’s support page, customers are unable to convert from its new 12-month plan to the 24-month option, or vice versa. However, you can choose to upgrade or downgrade to a different speed package, provided that it is offered within the same contract plan. Meanwhile, relocating is possible as long as your new location is within TIME’s coverage area, and is only free once you’ve finished your contract.
New and existing customers can subscribe to TIME Internet’s new 12-month plan online through its website, or via authorised dealers nationwide.
