Acer has announced the arrival of the Predator Triton Neo 16, its latest gaming laptop that was announced back in December as part of its lineup of devices with Intel Meteor Lake Core Ultra CPUs. Despite looking a bit hefty, what with its 16-inch form factor, the laptop actually weighs just 2.05kg with a chassis that’s 18.82mm thin.
Let’s start with the display, which is a 16-inch IPS LCD screen with a 3200×2000 resolution, a tall 3:2 aspect ratio, a high refresh rate of 165Hz, and Calman Verified calibration. Under the chassis, you’ll find an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 185H and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU that tops out at 255W.
As with most new products these days, it ships with a suite of AI features including a dedicated AI engine and AI-powered tools from NVIDIA such as DLSS 3.5, NVIDIA Studio and more. There is also an AI noise reduction feature for better audio quality.
For connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 6E and comes with two USB-A ports, two USB-C ports with one supporting Thunderbolt 4, an HDMI port, a headphone jack, and a microSD card slot. And, of course, it wouldn’t be a gaming laptop without an RGB keyboard.
The Predator Triton Neo 16 is available through the brand’s website, Shopee and Lazada stores, and authorised resellers nationwide. It retails for a whopping RM9,999, which comes with a free 20-inch Melbourne Luggage if you buy the laptop before 25 June 2024.
