The Huawei MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Edition was made available for purchase earlier in the year, but it looks like another variant is already on the way. It’s called the MatePad 11.5 S PaperMatte Edition, and it will be launching as soon as next week. Also launching alongside it will be this year’s refresh of the MateBook 14.
Despite its launch next week, the company has already listed the spec sheet of the Huawei MatePad 11.5 S PaperMatte Edition on its website. Befitting the S, there are some bumps up in specs compared to the model that was launched earlier. To start, the upcoming model has a 2,800 x 1,840 LCD screen, with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Powering the MatePad 11.5 S PaperMatte Edition is a 8,800mAh battery which supports 22.5W charging.
The bits of the Huawei MatePad 11.5 S PaperMatte Edition that did not see an upgrade include its 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space, the 13MP rear camera and the 8MP front-facing shooter. The only item missing from an otherwise complete spec sheet is the chipset that the tablet runs.
Getting to the Huawei MateBook 14, this comes with a 14.2-inch 3,120 x 2,080 touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate, with processor options within the Intel Core Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 range with integrated Intel Arc graphics. 16GB of RAM is also listed, but none for storage. Closing out the spec sheet is a 70Wh battery.
As mentioned, both the MatePad 11.5 S PaperMatte Edition and MateBook 14 2024 will be launching next week, but more specifically on 18 June. The missing bits on their spec sheets, as well as their asking prices, will be revealed then.
