Apple officially announced MacOS Sequoia and along with it, a slew of new and improved features. One of the first features that it talks about is iPhone mirroring.
To put it simply, iPhone mirroring allows your to control your phone via MacOS – you’ll receive notifications, as well as allow you to monitor specific stats and details, all without having to touch your iPhone if you don’t want to. More importantly, your iPhone stays locked, even in Standby mode, until you need to move.
Next, Safari on MacOS Sequioa has also been improved. Case in point, the updated app now uses machine learning to pick out different and “interesting facts on a page, and then generate a summary or table of content from said page, almost immediately.
Moving on, Apple also announced that Keychain on MacOS Sequioa is also getting a major bump in its security, pairing it with the new Passwords apps, which allows you to store all your security details, including Wi-Fi passwords and 2FA, among other things.
Finally, MacOS Sequioa is bringing automatic tiling for multiple Safari windows. For those who are currently on a Windows PC or laptop, know this: up until this moment, MacOS users have consistently suffered the pain of being unable to snap multiple windows to the side. For them to do this, they have to download separate utilities via the App store. No joke.
