HMD introduced its first ever tablet under its own brand last month called the T21. The tablet seems to be a rebrand of Nokia’s from way back in 2022, with the exact same design and specs with the exception of it shipping with Android 13 out of the box and that it comes in a new colour. It has now arrived in Malaysia, although it comes with the same caveats as the Pulse series.
The device features a 10.4-inch IPS LCD display with a 2000×1200 resolution, a 5:3 aspect ratio, and a peak brightness of 360 nits. Under the chassis lies a Unisoc T612 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot for expansion. For connectivity, it supports both Wi-Fi and 4G, while on the software side, the brand is promising two OS upgrades.
There are two 8MP cameras on this tablet, with the front sensor being placed in the horizontal side of the bezels. Powering it is an 8,200mAh battery with support for 18W charging. Regarding protection, it even comes with an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance.
The T21 retails for RM1,259 and can be purchased through Nokia’s Shopee store. However, do note that it is shipped from China and only comes with a 12-month supplier warranty.
