Computex 2024 may be over but needless to say, there are still some products, production-ready or concepts, that we think are interesting. Over at MSI’s booth, we got a glimpse of the company’s new Stealth 16 gaming laptop.
What sets this Stealth 16 apart from previous models is the fact that this one is making a departure from MSI and Intel’s usual partnership, the former opting instead to power it with AMD’s newly announced “Strix Point” Ryzen AI mobile processors. More precisely, MSI says that the laptop can be fitted with up to the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, the chipmaker’s top-tier 12-core mobile processor.
In keeping with this year’s theme of AI, the Stealth 16, being an AMD-powered Ryzen AI laptop and all that, is also Copilot+ ready. While MSI couldn’t share more with me regarding the specs, we know that it will also be equipped with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 mobile, while the display is a 16-inch QHD+ (2560 x 1600) with a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz. As with all of MSI’s laptops, you get the usual Cooler Boost 5 cooling solution and a massive 99.9Whr battery.
At the time of writing, MSI did not specify when the laptop will be arriving on our shore, nor did it provide a starting price for it.
