As expected from its recent SIRIM listing, ZTE seems to have quietly brought over the Nubia Music into the local market. While no announcement was made on its social media pages, the phone has been listed on its Malaysian website and is available for purchase through certain distributors.
The Nubia Music is an entry-level device that sports a 6.6-inch 720p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a massive speaker on the back for music playback. It supports DTS X and allows users to crank up the volume up to 600%, although it does not support any advanced audio codecs or come with a built-in DAC. It also offers two headphone jacks so you can share your music with a friend.
Internally, the phone runs on a Unisoc SC9863A chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Its rear packs a 50MP camera along with a depth sensor and a 5MP selfie shooter up front. Powering the budget device is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging.
The Nubia Music comes in two colour options, orange and a funky pop art colourway, and retails for RM389. It is currently available through distributors such as MMG and SS Solution.
