Nothing has officially confirmed the name of the debut smartphone of its budget sub-brand dubbed the CMF Phone 1. The teaser image reveals a corner of the phone that contains a dial knob, which is speculated to be a mounting point for accessories that will be sold by the brand, similar to what we saw with the CMF Buds.
Just like with the main brand, Nothing says that it will focus on the design of the Phone 1, which seems to be the selling point of the sub-brand’s upcoming device. Earlier this week, the company posted a teaser of a smartphone that contained a screw on the back, which is also expected to be an accessory connector. Given that the two teasers seem to look like different phones, it is unclear if the first image was actually showing off the Nothing Phone (3).
While the details of the Phone 1 are still being kept under wraps, a tipster posted what he claims to be a leak of its key specs. For one thing, it will apparently sport a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and uniform bezels.
For the chipset, it is said to run on a MediaTek Dimensity 7200, with the phone apparently powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W charging. There is no official launch date yet, but it is rumoured to be unveiled some time in July.
