The road transport department (JPJ) has announced that its official mobile app, MyJPJ, now supports Financial Process Exchange (FPX). This update expands upon the app’s existing payment method options, which previously accepted debit and credit cards only.
In other words, you can now renew your road tax (e-LKM) and driving licence (e-LMM) through online banking via FPX. When conducting payments, the app will allow you to select your preferred bank as well as account for the process.
One notable quality of life update that’s also included in the update is the ability to save your credit/debit card information, allowing you to easily select it for future use. Before this, users were required to manually key in the details of the cards for every transaction.
As always, be sure to update the app in order to enjoy the new features. MyJPJ is available for Android, iOS and Harmony OS devices via Google Play Store, Apple App Store and Huawei AppGallery, respectively.
