Where the Zenbook and Vivobook laptops have been for those who work on the go, the ASUS ProArt is the series of devices for those whose work leans more towards content creation. And for Computex 2024, the company has unveiled three models, in three different form factors. They are the P16, the PX13, and the PZ13.
Starting with the ASUS ProArt P16, which comes in the more conventional laptop form factor. In fact, it looks a lot like the ROG Zephyrus G16. Perhaps unsurprisingly, it is similarly armed as well, with up to an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 CPU and up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU. Of course, being a content creation machine, the ProArt P16 gets access to AI software like Nvidia Broadcast, RTX Video, and the ChatRTX demo. These are viewed via the 16-inch 3K 120Hz ASUS Lumina OLED screen. Storage values were not shared, but memory goes up to 64GB for those who need it.
Moving on to the ASUS ProArt PX13, this is the convertible for those who want a smaller device to be taken around more conveniently. The CPU and GPU are shared with the larger P16 model, but naturally the display here is smaller, measuring at 13 inches. It shares the same resolution though, and naturally is a touchscreen for when you’re using it in its tablet mode. Likewise, no storage figures, but RAM for this device goes up to 32GB.
And finally, there’s the ASUS ProArt PZ13 2-in-1. This one is a little different, as it runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon X chipset. RAM and storage for this one goes up 16GB and 1TB respectively. As before, this is a 13-inch 16:10 touchscreen. But here, the the device itself also comes with an IP52 rating. The company says that the accompanying stand and keyboard, which attach magnetically, come in the box, as does the stylus, which is great as these usually make for pricey optional extras.
Pricing and availability details are incomplete for all three of these, but the ASUS ProArt P16 has a starting price of US$1,899 (~RM8,939), while the ProArt PX13 starts from US$1,699 (~RM7,997). The PZ13, on the other hand, has an availability window instead of H2 2024. None of these necessarily apply to the local market, and we haven’t heard from the local arm of the company yet.
