ZTE could be releasing yet another smartphone under its Nubia sub-brand soon, this time with the Nubia Music. As implied by the name, the phone has a strong focus towards audio, with a large rear speaker and even two 3.5mm headphone jacks so you can share wired music with a friend.
The Nubia Music was certified by SIRIM on 15 May 2024 with the model number Z2353. As per usual, a listing on this database indicates an imminent launch of the product in Malaysia, but the brand has yet to announce a date for the unveiling.
It is fitted with a 6.6-inch 720p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. While there isn’t support for advanced audio codecs or built-in DAC features, the speaker on the back supports DTS X and uses an AI algorithm to enable you to crank up the volume up to 600%, meaning that it can get very loud if that’s what you’re into.
Under the hood of the Nubia Music is an entry-level Unisoc SC9863A chipset with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, although it could have a different configuration here. On the imaging side, there’s a 50MP main camera alongside an unspecified sensor. Powering it is a 5,000mAh battery, but the charging speed of the phone is currently unlisted.
