Black Shark has announced the upcoming arrival of two new smartwatches, namely the GS3 and GT3 Neo. The former is a rugged device for outdoor usage while the latter is better suited for casual wear and standard fitness routines.
The GS3 sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED circular display with a 466×466 resolution, a peak brightness of 600 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. Additionally, it has 5 ATM water resistance as well as an IP69K rating for dust and water resistance, meaning you can take it with you to go swimming or even surfing.
There are over 100 sports modes to track your workouts with sensors to track your stats such as duration, calorie burn, heart rate, and more. It also has built-in GPS so you can navigate the wilderness just using the smartwatch. As for the battery life, the brand claims that it can last up to 21 days on a single charge.
Next up is the Neo smartwatch, which packs a square 2.01-inch 296×240 display with a peak brightness of 600 nits. It gets an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance but unfortunately, it does not come with built-in GPS.
As for the battery life, it can apparently last up to seven days on a single charge. Additionally, it has an AI assistant called Shark GPT, similar to the GT3. Both the Neo and GS3 also support Bluetooth calling.
For the pricing, the GS3 costs RM439 while the GT3 Neo retails for RM149. The two smartwatches will be available through the brand’s Shopee store starting 31 May 2024.
