The Samsung Galaxy Ring is rumoured to be part of the showcase of the upcoming Unpacked event in July, with a subscription service possibly in tow. Being a ring though, it’s probably not something that you just pick off the shelf and wear immediately. A recent leak has suggested that when you order one, you’ll need to also provide your ring size.
This comes via @evleaks, though not through the usual posts on X, previously Twitter. Instead, it’s one that’s been sent to Substack subscribers, with an image showing that customers can go through two different processes, depending if they know their ring size. For those who do, it’s a mostly straightforward process of selecting their ring size when placing the order, and waiting for it to arrive on their doorstep.
For those who don’t though, the image shows a Sizing Kit being sent to potential buyers of the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Sizes are noted to be based on the US standard sizing, but it’s unclear for now if this also applies to markets outside of the US. Once the ring size has been determined, the order can proceed as mentioned above. Also unclear is if the company will want the sizing kit back.
Considering the nature of the product, it is not yet clear if the Samsung Galaxy Ring is something that will end up being available in the local market. That will have to wait until after the launch which, as mentioned, will happen early July.
