The realme C63 has appeared in a couple of certification sites, including our own SIRIM. Nothing much has been revealed about the phone since, but the company has since teased a launch date for the local market. Which looks to be pretty early next month.
More specifically, the company says that the realme C63 will be launched on 5 June. The brand also took the opportunity to boast its “product tagline of ‘cas seminit, sembang sejam” with its 45W charging. Not that this is new information as this, alongside its 5,000mAh battery, was previously revealed in one of the aforementioned certification site listings. That being said, it’s nice to see that the version that will become available locally is consistent, at least in this aspect, as what other markets are getting.
Other things we’ve already seen of the realme C63 include a faux leather back, which the company also confirms in its press release. On the flip side, things that have not been confirmed from those other listings include a 50MP main camera and an 8MP front-facing one.
Notably in its press release though, the company claims that the realme C63 is “the most iPhone lookalike smartphone”. Usually a phone not having its own distinct look is not something a brand would choose to boast about, but on the flip side, you know what they say about imitation and flattery. Either way, the company will likely reveal more as we move closer to the phone’s launch date, with its price likely kept for the day itself.
