vivo’s gaming sub-brand iQOO entered the tablet market last year with the Pad and Pad Air, and the time is about right for a sequel. This comes in the form of the iQOO Pad2, which will have a Pro model showing up as well. It’s also been officially listed on the company’s official site in China, showing an unveiling date of 31 May, with pre-orders also opening on the same day.
Also listed on the site are some items of the iQOO Pad2 and Pad2 Pro spec sheet. Starting with the base model, the listing shows a 12.1-inch screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, and a 10,000mAh battery. GSMArena reports that the battery supports 44W charging, as well as having an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing shooter.
The iQOO Pad2 Pro, on the other hand, is listed with a 3.1K display also with 144Hz refresh rate, which the report notes to measure 13.1 inches across. It runs a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus for its chipset instead, and powering this device is a 11,500mAh battery which supports 66W charging. Cameras here are noted to be a 13MP unit at the back, and an 8MP shooter in front.
No prices were listed for either the iQOO Pad2 or Pad2 Pro yet, though these will likely be revealed during the launch. Actual availability, at least for its home market, starts on 7 June. No local details yet though.
