CelcomDigi may be planning to launch a whole slew of new prepaid plans soon as we have discovered several unlisted plans in the telco’s product disclosure sheets. Specifically, we found multiple 5G prepaid plans in the disclosure sheets of its Edisi Kuning and Edisi Biru offerings.
If you’re not familiar, the company launched its first lineup of 5G prepaid offerings under its unified branding back in February. There were four plans in total, with two plans called 5G 25 and 5G 39 under Edisi Kuning and Edisi Biru. However, the product disclosure sheets currently also list 5G 29, 5G 49, 5G 69, 5G 35 (Unlimited), 5G 49(Unlimited), and 5G 69 (Unlimited); all of which can’t be found anywhere else on CelcomDigi’s website.
This has led us to believe that these are upcoming plans that have yet to be announced by the telco. According to the details stated in the disclosure sheets, Edisi Kuning 5G 29 will be priced at RM29/month with 35GB of data capped at 100Mbps and 6GB of hotspot usage. Meanwhile, 5G 49 will cost RM49/month with 105GB of data and 10GB of hotspot and the 5G 69 plan, coming in at RM69/month, will offer a whopping 155GB of data with 15GB of hotspot.
On the Edisi Biru side, there’s the 5G 35 package that will be offered with unlimited data capped at 3Mbps and 3GB of hotspot — this seems to be the only prepaid plan without unlimited calls. There’s also the 5G 49 plan that will include 85GB of high-speed data, unlimited data at 3Mbps, and 6GB of hotspot. Last but not least, 5G 69 will come with 125GB of high-speed data, unlimited 3Mbps data, and 10GB of hotspot.
It is unknown when exactly the telco will be launching these plans, but given that they are already listed on the help page, the plans could be introduced soon. We have reached out to CelcomDigi for clarification and are waiting for a response.
