The nubia Focus Pro 5G is officially announced for the Malaysian market, and is slated to arrive early next month. Despite being a mid-range device, it offers a premium-esque design, as well as a triple camera setup helmed by a 108MP sensor.
The phone sports a flat 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Also onboard is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a sliding button which launches the camera app and a dedicated capacitive camera shutter button on the right-hand side, DTS-enhanced loudspeakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB-C port.
Under the hood of the nubia Focus Pro 5G is a Unisoc T760 chipset that’s paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal UFS 3.1 storage. Meanwhile, it also comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, the ability to boost its RAM via a virtual memory booster (up to 12GB of storage usage), Android 14, as well as dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC connectivity.
As mentioned earlier, the phone packs a triple camera setup on its back, which consists of a 108MP primary sensor with OIS, a 5MP ultra-wide with macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. In front, housed within the punch-hole cutout is a 32MP selfie camera.
The new nubia Focus Pro 5G will be available on 4 June 2024, priced at RM999 and in two colourways: Classic Black and Light Brown. Pre-orders for the phone are now open via the brand’s official store on Shopee until 3 June 2024, with a special RM50 discount and a free ZTE Bluetooth speaker offered to early bird customers while stocks last.
