Yoodo is officially getting discontinued. Come 29 August, the subsidiary telco brand will cease to exist, as part of its parent company, CelcomDigi’s requirement by MCMC.
As part of the CelcomDigi merger undertaking committed to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), we would like to inform you that the Yoodo brand will be discontinued from 29 Aug 2024.
We thank you for being a loyal Yoodo customer.
Please be assured you will continue to enjoy your existing service (data, voice and SMS) without any interruptions.
More details on the transition will be shared with you by 17 June 2024.
If you’re on the telco right now, just as this writer is, you don’t need to worry too much; CelcomDigi promises that the status quo remains for your current subscription. Your current plan – your internet data, voice, SMS, all that jazz – will stay the same or be tweaked and tailored to your taste. Likewise, all payment channels will remain the same until further notice.
As it says, CelcomDigi will only reveal more information post-Yoodo on 17 June. Beyond that, the telco doesn’t have much else to share.
