Xiaomi has officially brought over its latest high-end tablet, the Pad 6S Pro 12.4, to the Malaysian market. Launched a few months back in China, it is an update to last year’s Pad 6 Pro that comes with a bigger display, an upgraded processor, and a larger battery cell.
Firstly, as you can tell from the name, the Pad 6S Pro sports a 12.4-inch 3K LCD display, which has a peak brightness of 900 nits, a 144Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. Underneath the chassis, the company packed a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Connectivity-wise, it supports Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 7, with no cellular version being offered.
On the imaging side,, the tablet features a 50MP main camera on the back with a depth sensor alongside it, while the horizontal bezel up front houses a 32MP lens. Additionally, it has a total of six speakers and four microphones as well as support for Dolby Atmos. Powering everything is a 10,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging.
The Pad 6S Pro 12.4 will go on sale starting 16 May with a retail price of RM2,799 for the 8GB+256GB trim and RM3,099 for the 12GB+512GB trim. It will be available through the company’s online store as well as its Shopee and Lazada pages. Accessory-wise, the brand is pricing the touchpad keyboard at RM699, the Focus Pen at RM399 and the cover at RM149.
