POCO has officially launched the global launch date for the much-awaited flagship F6 series. The upcoming lineup will be making its debut in Dubai on 23 May 2024 at 7 PM Malaysian time and will be made up of the vanilla version as well as the Pro model.
While there has been no word on when the series will make its way to Malaysia, we can expect the phones to be available here soon after the global launch given that the event was also shared through the brand’s Malaysia Facebook page. The tagline for the event this time is, “”HyperPower Evolved”.
While Xiaomi’s sub-brand has not officially revealed any details regarding the phones, it revealed through an update last week that the F6 Pro has the same codename as the Redmi K70, meaning that they are more than likely the same phone with different badges. From this, we can extract that the Pro will get a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W charging.
Meanwhile, the vanilla F6 is expected to run on a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and also support 120W charging. On the camera side, it is rumoured to feature a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 20MP selfie shooter.
