Xiaomi’s latest premium tablet, the Pad 6S Pro, has been officially announced for Malaysia via a short teaser video posted on the brand’s local Facebook page. As you may recall, we previously discovered the device’s listing in SIRIM’s database last month, which indicated its imminent local arrival.
Complete specifications for the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro have yet to be detailed at this time. Based on its release in China and for the global market, the tablet sports a 12.4-inch 3K LCD display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, a 144Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 900 nits, as well as Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Measurements-wise, it comes in at 278.70mm in height, 191.58mm in width, has a thickness of 6.26mm, and weighs at 590g.
Under its hood is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship chipset, along with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Additionally, the tablet runs on the latest version of Xiaomi’s HyperOS platform, and comes with a 10,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support via USB-C.
On its back is a dual-camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. Flipping over to the front, housed within the side bezel of its display is a lone 32MP selfie camera.
Xiaomi has yet to reveal the launch date and pricing for the Pad 6S Pro in Malaysia. For your reference, the tablet is offered in two memory configurations in China, with prices starting from CNY3,299 (~RM2,168).
