Maybank has announced that it is currently experiencing technical issues with its MAE mobile application. According to several users, the platform is running relatively slow, with some noting that they are unable to perform payment or banking transactions.
As a temporary alternative, the bank is asking customers to utilise its Maybank2U website for the time being. At the time of writing, Maybank says it is still in the midst of solving the issue.
Kindly be informed that MAE app is currently experiencing intermittent slowness. In the meantime, kindly use the Maybank2u website to perform your transactions.

[Update: 10 May 2024 – 9:55pm] Maybank announced that it has completed the unscheduled maintenance. Users can now perform their transactions as usual on the MAE app. The bank did not mention what had caused the issue.
Kindly be informed that you may now perform your transactions as usual on the MAE app as the services are back to normal.
