The video games space has seen equal share of ups and downs the past couple of weeks. Representing the former is the pretty successful Fallout TV show. As for the latter, there’s the canning of three Bethesda studios by parent company Microsoft. But for what it’s worth, this results in a pretty good games deal for gamers. This is because you can get Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas and Arkane Austin’s Prey, for US$4.99 (~RM24) on PC, and specifically Steam.
This deal is available via the Trinity Bundle on PC games distributor Fanatical. You can technically pick any three games that you want for the aforementioned price, but the three mentioned above are by far the most well known of the lot. Of course, included in the list of possible titles are the likes of Mortal Shell, The Ascent and Valfaris: Mecha Therion, if you prefer.
As is the case with most Fanatical deals, you can also pick five games for US$7.99 (~RM38) or seven for US$9.99 (~RM47). But considering what’s going on with the video games industry recently, Prey, Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas just end up being the most relevant titles for the deal. It helps that all three are great Bethesda titles.
For now, there’s no word on when the deal will end. Chances are you may also already have some, if not all, of these games in your library. But if you don’t, then you can hit the link below to take advantage of an otherwise sombre situation in the industry.
