ZTE seems to be gearing up to launch a new entry-level smartphone called the Blade A75. The unannounced device has made an appearance on the SIRIM database, hinting of its imminent launch in the Malaysian market.
The Blade A75 was listed on 9 May 2024 with the model number Z2357N. Judging from the name, it will likely be the successor to last year’s Blade A73. There is not much else we know about the phone or when it will launch, but it will support 5G.
In case you are unfamiliar with it, the Blade A73 sports a 6.52-inch 720p LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It runs on a Unisoc T760 and comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage with no card slot for expansion. Connectivity-wise, it supports 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC.
On the imaging side, it features a 13MP main camera on the back with a depth sensor alongside it, as well as a 5MP selfie shooter housed in the tear-drop notch. Powering the budget smartphone is a 5,000mAh battery with an undisclosed charging speed. For reference, the Blade A73 retailed at RM749 when it launched, so we can expect a similar price tag with the Blade A75.
