realme has officially unveiled the Buds Air 6 and Air 6 Pro, its latest pair of wireless earbuds. Of course, they are a refresh of the Buds Air 5 lineup from last year with very similar designs and specs to their predecessors.
The vanilla variant sports 12.4mm drivers while the Pro gets a dual-driver setup with 11mm woofers and 6mm tweeters. Both earbuds support the high-bitrate LDAC codec, have ANC that can tune out up to 50dB of noise, and 3D spatial audio, although the latter is exclusive to the Pro. For protection, the buds themselves come with an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.
For the battery life, the Buds Air 6 can last up to 6.5 hours on a single charge with ANC and 10 hours without ANC, with a total usage time of 40 hours with the charging case. Meanwhile, the Pro model can get 7.5 hours on ANC and 10 hours with ANC turned off, along with a total battery life of 40 hours with the case.
The Buds Air 6 retails for CNY269 (~RM176) while the Pro gets a price tag of CNY469 (~RM307). There is no news yet on when they will be available in Malaysia, but we can expect them to land here soon as both devices have already been listed on SIRIM.
