Tecno has officially brought over the Pova 6, its latest budget gaming phone, to the Malaysian market. With a price difference of only RM100 compared to the Pro model, you’re getting basically the same phone but with a less powerful chipset, less RAM, and a lack of 5G support.
The Pova 6 sports a 6.78-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, and the Dynamic Port feature, which is its version of Apple’s Dynamic Island. Inside, the phone runs on a MediaTek G99 Ultimate chipset with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM.
On the optics front, it features a 108MP primary camera along with a 32MP sensor for selfies up front. Battery-wise, the cell inside it has a large 6,000mAh capacity with support for 70W charging. Additionally, it comes with an LED configuration on the back for a gaming-centric design as well as IP53 dust and water resistance. There is also an under-display fingerprint sensor, which it claims works even when your hand is wet.
The Pova 6 ships in two colour options and retails for RM899. It can be purchased through the brand’s TikTok shop today and will be available on its Shopee and Lazada stores starting 10 May.
