Maxis today has announced an all-new Saudi Premium Data Pass that’s designed for those who are performing their Hajj pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia. Take note that this package is only available to the telco‘s postpaid customers for a limited time, starting now until 30 June 2024.
The Saudi Premium Data Pass costs RM99, and offers users unlimited roaming data for 45 days. However, take note that there’s a daily allocation of 2GB high-speed internet, and exceeding this will throttle speeds at up to 1Mbps.
As implied, the pass is only intended for use in Saudi Arabia. Maxis notes that a one-day unlimited Data Pass will be auto activated for you if you’re transiting in Singapore or any other countries.
The Saudi Premium Data Pass can be activated via the Maxis app for immediate usage or scheduled up to 14 days in advance. Alternatively, customers can also sign up for the pass via the Maxis Care Portal or the Maxis Easy Menu by dialling *100#.
