Last month, HMD launched its first-ever lineup of smartphones carrying its own branding called the Pulse series. While there are three devices in total, it seems that at least two of them, namely the Pulse Plus and Pro, have made their way to Malaysia.
For specs, the two phones carry a 6.65-inch 720p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and run on a Unisoc T606 chipset, with the Plus getting a single configuration while the Pro comes in two RAM and storage options. Battery-wise, both devices feature a 5,000mAh QuickFix battery, which the company claims is replaceable. The Plus variant has a charging speed of only 10W while the Pro gets 20W charging.
On the optics front, both phones sport a 50MP main camera on the back alongside a depth sensor. Up front, the Plus has an 8MP sensor while the Pro variant gets a 50MP selfie shooter.
The Pulse Plus retails at RM659 and comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage while the Pulse Pro starts from RM779 for the 6GB+128GB trim and RM909 for the 8GB+256GB model. Both are available on Nokia’s Shopee store, but they are global sets that are shipped from China and only come with a one-year supplier warranty.
