Amazfit has launched a new smartwatch called the Bip 5 Unity, which seems to be a cheaper version of last year’s Bip 5. It is nearly identical to its predecessor with the main differences being the lack of built-in GPS as well as a flat screen instead of a curved one.
The smartwatch gets a similarly-sized 1.91-inch LCD touch display with a 320×380 resolution and an anti-fingerprint coating. For protection, it comes fitted with 2.5D tempered glass as well as an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Moreover, the watch is equipped with Bluetooth 5.2 as well as built-in speakers and a microphone to enable phone calls through the wearable.
On the health and fitness front, the smartwatch supports 24-hour monitoring of your heart rate, blood-oxygen levels, and stress, along with sleep and menstruation cycle tracking. It also offers over 120 sports modes with auto-detection of six activities. Battery-wise, the brand claims that it can last up to 11 days with typical usage and can be pushed up to 26 days with the battery saver mode.
The Bip 5 Unity comes in two colour options and retails for RM289, but you can get it for RM279 as part of its launch promo until 3 May. It is available now on the company’s Shopee store and will be available for purchase through its Lazada and TikTok stores from 4 May onwards.
