vivo officially launched the V30e today, making it the third model under the V30 lineup.
Specs-wise, the phone houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen1, 8GB RAM, an internal storage capacity of 256GB with room for expansion of up to 1TB via microSD card, and a 5,550mAh battery that supports 44W fast-charging, otherwise known as FlashCharge. As for the display, the V30e is sports a 6.78-inch screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1300 nits.
For its main camera, the vivo V30e houses a dual-camera module comprising a 50MP Sony IMX882 wide, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. The camera also supports 4K and Full HD video recording at 30 fps for both resolutions. Around the front, the selfie camera is a 32MP shooter, which is pretty much an industry standard.
The party piece of the V30e appears to be the special camera flash cum RGB ring light that vivo dubs the Aura Light Portrait. When activated, the colour of the ring light can be customised via a white balance slider that, in turn, is found within the phone’s camera app. To be fair, the feature isn’t exclusive to just this phone; you’ll also find it on the other V30 models
The vivo V30e will retail at an SRP of RM1,399, while preorders for the phone will begin today.
