Late last week, we say retailers listing the OPPO A60 ahead of its official announcement, complete with the price of the two available configurations. Today, the company has announced the launch of the phone, confirming the price of one but not the other.
The announcement also serves to confirm the spec sheet of the OPPO A60 that was unveiled before. This includes the 6.67-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, 8GB of RAM and a choice of 128GB or 256GB of storage space. Its battery is rated at 5,000mAh with a 45W charging rate.
At the back of the OPPO A60 is a 50MP main + 2MP portrait camera combo, while in front it has an 8MP shooter sitting in a punch-hole cutout on the screen. The entire package also comes with an IP54 rating, giving it some resistance to dust and water, letting it survive light splashes.
Going back to its asking price, the company confirms that the OPPO A60 has a starting price of RM699, which applies to the model with 128GB. That being said, the one with 256GB of storage has gotten a RM799 price tag instead of the RM899 that we saw late last week. At the time of writing, said retailer has yet to change its listing.
