The Tesla Cybertruck is now available for public viewing at Pavilion Damansara Heights until 17 May 2024. As you may recall, the EV initially arrived in Malaysia earlier this month, though viewings were only offered privately until now.
According to Paultan.org, viewing hours at Tesla’s Pavilion Damansara Heights showroom is from 10am to 10pm daily. Needless to say, now’s the time if you’re curious to see what the Cybertruck looks like up close. However, since it’s only for display purposes only, don’t expect you can take the vehicle out for a spin.
In case you missed it, Tesla previously confirmed that two versions of the Cybertruck are available for viewing in Malaysia. The first being the Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive model, and the second is the Tri Motor All-Wheel Drive “Cyberbeast”. The EV is currently in the midst of its promotional tour across Asia, and has recently visited several countries within the region including China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Thailand.
Despite being available for all to see and experience (to a limited extent), there’s still no plans for the Tesla Cybertruck to be sold in Malaysia. For now, the uniquely designed fully-electric pickup remains to be a US-only exclusive. That said, there have been reports of issues and recalls, so it’s probably best that things get fully ironed out before a global rollout is considered.
