The Samsung Galaxy S24 line was released earlier in the year, in the usual base, Plus and Ultra variants. There have been mentions of an FE model in the works, and more recently, it looks like there’s more corroboration to the claims. A report claims to have seen the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE mentioned by name, alongside Four model numbers that reflect its availability in three regions.
Said report comes courtesy of Android Headlines, which claims to have seen these in an unidentified listing. As mentioned, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is mentioned by name, alongside the model numbers SM-S721B, SM-S721U, SM-S721W and SM-S721N. These are noted to be variants for the global, US, Korean and Canadian markets, respectively.
In a generation that saw the return of the company’s own Exynos chips, which market each model of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is meant for will likely determine which chipset it gets. The US market will more than likely be getting the Qualcomm chip. If the phone makes its way to our shores, it will probably be sporting an Exynos chip of some kind.
For now, it’s unclear when the company will officially unveil the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. One can argue it will be on 10 July, sharing the stage with the company’s new foldable refresh lineup as well as the Galaxy Ring. While possible, it would be pretty early compared to the previous FE entry, which was launched in October last year.
