Earlier this month, Huawei unveiled its latest flagship smartphone series with a whole new moniker called the Pura 70. The lineup is made up of four devices but it seems that at least two of them will be making their way to the Malaysian market.
Two devices from the series, namely the Pura 70 as well as the Pro model, received SIRIM certification just last week with the model numbers ADY-LX9 and HBN-LX9 respectively. This new listing means that we can expect the two smartphones to arrive here soon. Additionally, it might result in the Pro Plus and Ultra variants to arrive later in the year, but there is also a chance they could remain exclusive to China.
The vanilla Pura 70 sports a 6.6-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by a 4,900mAh battery with support for 66W wired, 50W wireless, and 7.5W reverse wireless charging. For imaging, it gets a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP telescope lens with 5x optical zoom and OIS, and a 13MP ultra-wide lens. Both devices run on the company’s in-house Kirin 9010 chipset.
For the higher-end Pura 70 Pro, it is fitted with a bigger 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and has a larger 5,050mAh battery with support for 100W wired, 80W wireless, and 20W reverse wireless charging. On the optics front, it features a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 48MP telephoto with OIS and 3.5x optical zoom, and a 12.5MP ultra-wide lens.
