We have seen reports claiming that the next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will happen in July, with some specifically mentioning the second half of the month. This is the event that will see the unveiling of the South Korean tech giant’s next generation foldable phones, as well as the Galaxy Ring health tracker. Now, a new report says that it will be happening in the first half of the month instead, with a potential location to go with it.
SamMobile cites sources that claim that the next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will happen on 10 July instead of 26. And it will be happening in Paris, France. The report also mentions that the company is a major sponsor of the Olympics which, incidentally, is happening in the same city with a 26 July start date.
In addition to the foldables and the Galaxy Ring, the report claims that this Galaxy Unpacked event will see Samsung also reveal the Galaxy Watch7, as well as a pair of wireless earbuds. There will also probably be more Galaxy AI-related announcements as well. If these claims are accurate, this would make for a pretty packed event, which is ironic considering its name.
At any rate, until the company announces the dates on its own terms, the usual dose of salt applies. But when it happens, it would be nice to see if the claims of the many foldable variants hold any water.
