OPPO recently teased the arrival of the A60 but it has yet to reveal the official launch date of the phone. Despite that, one of its distributors may have jumped the gun as a company called MMG Distribution has listed the pricing of the phone on Shopee.
If the listing is to be believed, the A60 will retail at a starting price of RM699 for the base trim with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage while the 8GB+256GB variant will cost RM899. The entry-level device will come in two colour options, namely purple and blue.
For the specs of the phone, the A60 sports a 6.77-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 950 nits. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage with a microSD card slot for expansion. For protection, the budget device is rated at IP54 for dust and water resistance and, in addition, it comes with Splash Touch technology that keeps the screen responsive even when wet.
On the optics front, the A60 features a 50MP main camera, which does not have OIS, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP front snapper. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W charging. Regarding connectivity, the phone supports Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and is fitted with a 3.5mm audio jack.
