Earlier in the month, we saw the vivo V30e being listed in the SIRIM database, which is usually a sign of an imminent launch locally. The company has also been posting teasers of the phone on its own Facebook page. But more recently, the brand has confirmed that the launch is happening early next month.
More specifically, the company has announced that the launch for the vivo V30e is happening on 2 May. Unfortunately, the company has not revealed anything else about the the phone. If you must know what the phone has in store, this means relying on leaks, of which there is one floating around.
As 91mobiles previously reported, a limited spec sheet of the vivo V30e has appeared on the Geekbench database. In it, the phone is shown to be running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, running Android 14 and with 8GB of RAM. The report then goes on to list unsourced specs of the device, which includes a 5,000mAh battery with 44W charging.
For what it’s worth, the company is offering those who are interested an opportunity to experience the vivo V30e early via a product demonstration happening tomorrow, on 27 April. No word on if specs of the phone will be shared early here, but a hashtag on the Facebook post promoting the session is a hint on one of its cameras.
The vivo V30e is another addition to the V30 series, which saw the base and Pro model getting unveiled last month. One of the major highlights of the series so far is that every camera on the devices are a 50MP camera of some kind, and it looks like the new member of the line may be doing the same.
